Oyo pupils kidnapped, teachers regain freedom

Weeks after the kidnapping in Oriire Local Government Area of ​​Oyo State, school children and teachers abducted by suspected terrorists have been rescued.

Presidential spokesperson Bayo Onanuga confirmed on Friday that the victims were freed thanks to the intervention of security agencies.

They were abducted on May 15, when terrorists invaded the community, abducting 46 pupils, teachers and a principal.
One of the teachers was killed.
