President Tinubu will address the Nigerian people on the 64th anniversary of independence

President Bola Tinubu will deliver a national address on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at 7 am, in celebration of Nigeria’s 64th Independence Day.

The announcement was made by Bayo Onanuga, Special Advisor to the President on Information and Strategy, in a statement issued on Monday.

The statement titled “Independence Day 1 October 2024: President Tinubu addresses the nation,” outlined the significance of the broadcast.

Onanuga also encouraged television and radio stations, as well as other electronic media, to connect to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority and the Nigerian Federal Radio Corporation to broadcast the speech.
