Seven killed in the filming of Jerusalem

On Monday no less than five people were killed in a shooting attack on a bus stop in Jerusalem, according to the paramedics.

The Israeli emergency medical service Magen David Adom reported that four victims were declared death on the scene to North Jerusalem, while one died of his wounds later in the hospital.

Other wounded people have been taken to the hospital, seven of whom with serious injuries.

The police said that “two terrorists arrived on the vehicle at the crossroads of the branch in Jerusalem and opened fire to a bus stop”.

“A security officer and a civilian on the scene responded immediately, returned the fire and neutralized the attackers.”

Zaka’s rescue service confirmed that the suspected Palestinian attackers had been killed.

A security guard of a nearby bus station said that two armed men entered a bus to an intersection and shot.
He said the bus was “full of holes”.

One of the attackers was also carrying a knife, he said.

According to eye witnesses, the military road blocks that stop traffic were implemented between Jerusalem and Ramallah in the West Bank occupied after the attack.

The situation in the Middle East has been extremely tense since the beginning of the Gaza war almost two years ago, and at that moment there were repeated attacks by the Palestinians on the Israelis.

The war left the Palestinian coastal territory largely in ruins and tens of thousands of dead Gaza.

The war was triggered by the terrorist attack of 7 October 2023 by Palestinian militants in the southern Israeli communities, who killed about 1,200 people.
