SilverNews Communication set by plane by IMo State State Club Final Live

The story will be made this Sunday while the SilverNews communication broadcasts experience the final of the inaugural edition of the League of the Association of the owners of the IMO state club. The long -awaited match will take place at the Osia City stadium, Ngor Okpala, scoring the first time that a basic football event of this size will be broadcast on the radio in the state of imo and beyond.

With over 17 years of experience with the media, the SilverNews communication, in collaboration with the key partners, will transmit the action live to the public in all states of IMO and Abia through Global 101.5 FM and the company’s Facebook page, SilverNews.ng.

Speaking in front of the historical event, the CEO of SilverNews Communication, Kennedy Onwunali, a former footballer himself, described the live broadcast as part of his commitment for the growth of the company.

“I have always sought roads to contribute to the development of our society using each available platform. Supporting basic football is crucial, as it helps to remove our young people from social vices and gives them hope through sport,” said Owunal.

He praised the efforts of the association of the club owners in providing a platform for young talents to thrive and reaffirm the dedication of SilverNews to the initiatives oriented to the community.

Section 22 of the 1999  Constitution states: “ “The press, radio, television and other agencies of the mass media  shall at all times be free to uphold the fundamental objectives contained in this chapter( ie Chapter II) and uphold the responsibility and accountability of the Government to the people”  Section 39(1)  of same Constitution states : “Every person shall be entitled to freedom of expression, including freedom to hold opinions and to receive and impart ideas and information without interference” ..  To complement these constitutional provisions, Section 1 (1) of the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) states “Notwithstanding anything contained in any other Act, law or regulation, the right of any person to access or request information, whether or not contained in any written form, which is in the custody or possession of any public official, agency or institution howsoever described, is established.” while Section  2(2), states that: “A public institution shall ensure the proper organization and maintenance of all information in its custody in a manner that facilitates public access to such information”  Primary Purpose of FOIA  According to the Act, its primary purpose is to make information about public records freely available to every Nigerian in the public interest. …
