A speeding car on Friday morning hit a woman to death at the Mowo junction on the Agbara-Badagry Expressway in Lagos.
The Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Badagry Unit, Mr. William Manga, told reporters that the accident occurred at 6:00 am on the highway.
He said: “The accident occurred at the Mosafejo-Mowo junction on the Badagry Expressway. The accident involved an unknown car driver.
“The victim suffered head injuries and died before our team arrived at the scene.”

Manga said the victim had been taken to the morgue at the General Hospital in Badagry.
He added that no evidence was found from the victim.
The unit commander appealed to pedestrians to be more careful when crossing the toll road.
He also appealed to drivers to obey speed limits and other traffic regulations.
