Super Eagles midfielder ranked best in MLS after 8 games

Nigerian international midfielder Alhassan Yusuf has been rated as the best midfielder in the current Major League Soccer in the United States of America (USA), OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.

After nine matchdays in which his New England Revolution team has played one less game, the 25-year-old has played in every game so far and scored two goals.

However, it is his overall play that has caught the attention of everyone in the league and his coach, Marko Mitrović, has chosen him as his most influential player of the season so far.

He had another top-notch performance yesterday to propel his team to a 2-1 victory against Atlanta United, and during the match one of the commentators referred to him as the best midfielder in the league at the moment.

He will hope to have done enough to earn a place in the Super Eagles squad, whether for the Unity Cup or the high-profile friendly matches against Poland and Portugal respectively.
