The Supreme Court on Wednesday reserved a decision in the appeal submitted by the Democratic Governor Candidate (PDP) in the state of Edo, Asue Ighodalo.
Ighodalo and his party challenged the Declaration of the Independent National Election Commission (Inec) on Monday Okpebholo from the Congress of All Progressive (APC) as the winner of last year’s governor election in the southern-south state.
Both the Petition Court Election of the State Governor Edo and the appeal court, Abuja, had rejected the petition because of the lack of achievements and confirmed Okpebholo’s victory in the election.

Not satisfied with the decision of the appeal court declared in June, the Petitioners approached the top court to put it aside.
Supreme Court. In the process of Wednesday, postponed the assessment of Sine died after taking the argument from the parties.
Justice Garba Lawal, who led the panel. said the date for the verdict will be communicated to parties.
