Trump threatens new bombing campaign if Iran does not comply with peace framework – THIS END

By Ayo Kehinde

US President Donald Trump has warned that the US could resume military attacks on Iran if Tehran does not comply with the terms of the recently announced peace framework.

Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the G7 summit in France on Wednesday, Trump stressed that the agreement reached between Washington and Tehran is not yet a final peace deal but a memorandum of understanding subject to further negotiations.

“If they don’t behave, we’ll be right back dropping bombs,” Trump said, responding to questions about the future of the deal and the possibility of sanctions relief for Iran.

Trump argued that the agreement reached with Tehran is only the first step in a broader process aimed at addressing concerns about Iran’s nuclear program and regional security activities. He insisted that Iran would not be allowed to develop a nuclear weapon under any circumstances.

The warning came in the context of ongoing discussions on the implementation of the framework agreement, which aims to transform a ceasefire agreement into a more comprehensive solution capable of preventing the return of conflict.

The US president also rejected suggestions that the deal automatically entitles Iran to immediate sanctions relief, indicating that Washington will continue to evaluate Tehran’s actions before making further concessions.
