Volleyball championship on the beach: Abuja who will host 20 African nations

Abuja will be at the center of the scene this weekend while hosting the 2025 Confederation of African volleyball (Cavb) U-18 Boys and Girls Beach Volleyball Championship.

The teams of 20 African countries should arrive in the capital of Nigeria on Friday, in view of the long -awaited competition ranging from 1 to 7 August.

While on Friday it is put aside for the arrival and registration of the participants, the games should start during the weekend, while young athletes fight for continental supremacy on the sand.

The tournament also acts as a qualifier for the U-19 U-19 U-19 U-19 U-19 U-19 Championships in 2026, scheduled from 9 to 12 July.
