Why I distributed 47 cars and 289 motorcycles in Kano – Vice President of the Senate of Nigeria

The Vice President of the Senate, Senator Barau Jibrin, said they distributed 47 Sharon cars and 287 Boxer motorcycles to the Chiarmen of Kano North Senatorial District, APC Local Government Area, their secretaries and others while its President Mohammed Tinubu copied the agenda of renewed hope.

Speaking through the State Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Agenda, Mallam Salihu Sagir Takai, and Ghari LGA APC Chairman, who is Special Adviser to Senator Barau on Media, Shittu Madaki, said cars and motorcycles should be used to alleviate the poverty of the beneficiaries.

He said this was not the first of his interventions on human and capital development of his Kano North senatorial district, and it certainly will not be the last.

Chief of Staff to the Vice President of the Senate, Professor Muhammad Bn Abdullahi, said what Senator Barau is doing is a capital-intensive intervention that would see the complete removal of beneficiaries from poverty to self-sufficiency.

“Kano North Senatorial District is fortunate to have a Vice President of the Senate who has continued to distribute goods that would help spur human development and make life easy for those who benefited,” he said.

He said: “That is why we are not worried about some evil machinations and calculated attacks against our leader, Senator Barau Jibrin, because we are aware that those behind them are people of low integrity.”

Professor Abdullahi appealed to those who have benefited from cars and motorcycles not to get rid of them but to use them to earn income.
