Abuja (basic reporter) as Nigeria marked the day of democracy on Thursday, a member representing the federal electoral college of Ilorin West/ASA of the state of Kwara, Hon. Muktar Tolani Shagaya has praised the policies of President Bola Amhed Tinubu so far, insisting on the fact that he will not allow Nigeria to become a state of a party under his watch.

This commendation was made by the legislator when he spoke with journalists on the sidelines of the celebration of the 2025 democracy day at the National Assembly.

According to him, Tinubu proved to be a democrat and a defender of our hard freedom by gaining to face the joint session of the legislator to give his scorecard.

In particular, to appease the fears of many Nigerians who are afraid of the storm of defections in progress within the political parties of the opposition, he had this to say “, the president did not establish the rules of democracy, nor has he established the rules of the political parties with which people should be affiliated, I think many people have made those decisions voluntarily and have reached the progressive team.”

He recognized the progress made in the sectors of social and economic development by stating that some of the policies implemented by the Administration do not aim to impover the masses, but at the appropriate time, the investment will produce the result expected for the benefit of all.

While praised Mr, president for having done very well in the last 2 years, he wished him more fruitful years while led the ship to the desired destination
