Atiku ask Tinubu to fix the broken economy, do not get intoxicate in opposition affairs – Thage

The former vice -president of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar urged President Bola Tinubu to focus on “repairing the country’s economic problems and stopping interfering in opposition affairs”.

Thursday at the 14th meeting of the APC, President Bola Tinubu made another blow to the African democratic congress (ADC), the opposition coalition platform.

While welcoming and inviting members of the opposition parties to join the president of the PEC management Tinubu, “It is not a bad idea to abandon a ship that sinks or stay away from the confusion coalition”.

The president spoke in his speech to the meeting of the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the APC, held in the State Chamber Bandlet Hall, Presidential Villa, Abuja.

By responding, Atiku said that “attacking the opposition has become his favorite pastime, even if the country burns under his watch. This constant attack on the opposition is” a distraction by a man clearly overwhelmed by the disorder in his own home “.

He said that President Tinubu should first resolve the obvious split between himself and the vice -president Kashim Shettimo and the Nigerian economy broken before hitting the nose in the ADC affairs.

“We wish to affirm the record that Tinubu and his political field have sponsored crisis within the opposition parties. He beats our imagination on why the presidency is resorting to waste public funds to arouse internal conflicts in an attempt to weaken alternative political voices”

“We are fully aware of the fact that the alleged tensions between the supporters of Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi inside the coalition were orchestrated by the presidency. Unfortunately for them, their division game has failed: the cracks have been sealed and the coalition is stronger than ever.”

“It is alarming that in the middle of its controversial and widely rejected mandate, Tinubu is still in the lead to an APC government that is without direction, incompetent and completely disconnected from the suffering of the Nigerian normal.

“While the Nigerians face the worsening of hiding, hunger and poverty, Tinubu is committed to playing small policies. He has abandoned governance and is set in a 2027 re -election campaign despite having nothing to show for his 2023 mandate.

“Instead of sweeping away the bandits who devastate Benue, Plateau, Zamfara, Niger and other states, Tinubu is more interested in wiping off the opposition voices. His goal is clear: to force Nigeria into a party state.

“Now the anti-corruption agencies-like tools to harass and blackmail the leaders of the opposition to unite the APC is now using the state institutions-in. But let the truth be said: Tinubu fears the coalition. He knows that it is the coalition that will send him to make the luggage-o again in Bourdillon or Iragbiji.”
