As Osinbajo he collided with DSS on the possession of Sowore –…

He was revealed as the former vice -president, Professor Yemi Osinbajo (San), collided with the Department of State Services (DSS) for the refusal of the Agency to obey a Court order for the release of Omoyel Sowore during the Muhammadu Buhari administration.

This disclosure was contained in a new book by an expert journalist and lawyer, Richard Akinnola, entitled: “I write what I like”, which is scheduled for launch.

Akinnola said in the book: “Sometimes in 2019, at the height of the possession of Omoyel Sowore by the Government of Buhari and the refusal of the DSS to obey the order of the court for his liberation, I booked an appointment with the vice -president, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo.

“I was aware of the previous efforts made by the Vice -President Osinbajo to obtain the DSS obeying the Court’s Order, which almost led to a comparison with the security agency.

“Osinbajo said he had a job to return to after leaving the office and could not be around when such an order was broken.

“The DSS had told him that there could be no two presidents, a veiled reference to how Osinbajo, as an interim president in 2018, fired Lawal Daura as DG of DSS.

“However, I still decided to see him, so that he can put more pressure on his government, which he did that day and Sowore was released on the same day on which I came to see him.

“In addition to the defense issue, I sometimes explored the rear channels to do things, as in the case of the shit leader then detained, El Zakzakky, who in the end was granted the deposit, through this method.”

The infinite war of Ooni, Alaafin and Yoruba, of Lasisi Olagunju

The 198 -page book, consisting of 20 chapters, is essentially a collection of some of the author’s Facebook posts between 2017 and 2025.

The book should be revealed to the Airport hotel, Lagos on 13 September 2025 during the author of the author’s 67th birthday, entitled “A handshake through the Niger: the Yoruba/Igbo Deighteen”, under the presidency of Iba Gani Adams, the Anakanfo aare of Yorbaland.
