22 goals in 25 games: the most outstanding super striker scores twice

Paul Onuachu extended his lead as the Turkish League’s top scorer with a brace for Trabzonspor in a 3-1 win over Kayserispor, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.

The lanky forward scored his first goal in the 45th minute with a header at the far post before scoring his second later from the penalty spot.

He now has 20 goals in 22 league games after scoring for the seventh consecutive game. In all competitions he has 24 goals in 25 games and a scoring streak of nine consecutive games.

Member of the Nigerian senior team in the recently concluded AFCON, where he finished third. He has scored in every game he has played since returning from the tournament in Morocco.

Onuachu is now on course to win the league’s top scorer award as he currently has four more goals than his closest rival, Istanbul Basaksehir’s Eldor Shomurodov.
