Nigerian striker Kelechi Iheanacho has described Celtic’s achievement of winning two trophies in a week as “crazy” after helping the club to victory in the Scottish Cup final.
Iheanacho got it right as Celtic defeated Dunfermline Athletic 3-1 to lift the Scottish Cup.
After the victory, the forward expressed his joy and praised the team’s collective effort throughout the season.
“We won two trophies in one week, it’s crazy. I’m very happy. I believe, I have faith and it’s been a crazy season.”

“The effort everyone put in, God knows we really deserved it. Maybe some people deserved it more than us, but we’re lucky to have it and we’ll cherish it for the rest of our lives.”
Iheanacho enjoyed an impressive debut season for Celtic, registering nine goals and one assist in all competitions.
The Nigerian striker is expected to meet with the club’s management at the end of the season to review his contractual situation.
