Bandits kidnap female students in Zamfara – Blueprint Newspapers Limited

Bandits in their large numbers invaded Sabon Gida area of Gusau the Zamfara state capital, Thursday night, kidnapped yet to be identified and ascertained number of female students of the Federal University Gusau (FUGUS).

The students were living outside main campus of the university .

Resident of the area who pleaded anonymity in a telephone interview with Blueprint said the bandits visited the area where they attacked three hostels of the students and abducted them.

“As I am speaking to you now, many of the female students were kidnapped by the bandits except those who were narrowly escaped and no one knows how many of them were abducted so far,” the eyewitness said.

Police authorities were yet confirm the latest incident as at the time of filling the report.
