Crystal Palace have announced on their official website X that 2019 Golden Eaglets guest Malcolm Ebiowei has been loaned to newly promoted Championship club Oxford United FC.
The move reflects Crystal Palace’s strategy to provide its young talents with valuable playing experience in a competitive environment.

Ebiowei, who has shown promise in his previous appearances, will be given the opportunity to develop his skills and gain more first-team experience at his new club.
He will spend the 2024-2025 season on loan at Oxford United in search of playing time. The talented winger spent the second half of last season with Belgian Pro League side RWD Molenbeek, where he made five appearances and provided one assist.
He made twelve appearances during his loan spell at Hull City in the second half of the 2022-2023 season. Ebiowei has struggled to find opportunities since joining the Eagles, making just five appearances and featuring for 57 minutes.
This move allows Ebiowei to showcase his potential while also helping the Championship club strengthen their squad for the current season.
Before joining Crystal Palace in 2022, he played for Chelsea, Arsenal, Rangers and Derby County academies.
The 20-year-old has previously played in the Championship, making twenty-eight combined appearances for Derby County and Hull City, and has one goal and two assists to his name.
He is in contention to make his 29th appearance in the division in Oxford United opening game of the season against Norwich City next weekend.
Ebiowei, who is also eligible to feature for England and the Netherlands, was named in the Golden Eaglets’ squad for the 2019 FIFA U-17 World Cup.
