Following Lobi Stars’ hard-fought 1-0 triumph against Niger Tornadoes, head coach Eugene Agagbe addressed the press, expressing gratitude for the win and praising his players for their resilience and adherence to instructions.

The victory has propelled Lobi Stars to the second spot in the league, sharing the same points with log leaders Remo Stars.

He emphasized, “The second half of the game, my team showed a lot of character and they showed that they are equal to the task and they want to get what they are looking for in the 2023/2024 season.”

Looking ahead, Agagbe outlined the team’s ambitious goal, stating, “Our target is to be among the first three when the season comes to an end.”

Looking forward to their next fixture against Kwara United, Agagbe conveyed a confident stance, stating, “We are going to Kwara United for our next game, and we will try to beat them there, and we are not going to take it easy when we play them.”
