FIFA ranking: Super Eagles Now World 45th

The Super Eagles of Nigeria have decreased by a place in the September edition of the FIFA world football ranking to be the world team of 45th place.

In the ranking on the website of the football body of football, Nigeria obtained 1483 points in the month in the revision phase against 1484 points that had at the last ranking in July.

During the period in question, the Super Eagles designed a game (South Africa), won two (Nig 1: 0 Rwanda), (Nig 2: 0 Congo) and lost two (Sudan 4: 0 Nig), (Sen 1: 0 Nig).

On continental level, Nigeria has ranked sixth place behind Morocco, Senegal, Egypt, Algeria and Cote D’Ivoire.

On the global scene, Spain dethroned Argentina who had occupied the position since April 2023, to be a world leader for the first time since 2014.

The largest climber was Slovakia, climbing 10 points to become 42 °.

In total, over 200 games pertinent to the national team have been contested all over the world since the FIFA/Coca-Cola male ranking has been updated the last time, with a great impact on the o’clock order.
