“School children have become easy targets, and the country seems to have started to accept this situation as normal. We must not succumb to the weakness of leaders and the exploitation of criminals. This is not the way Nigerians should live.”

The PRP also lamented, that “old threats have evolved and mutated, while more and more Nigerians, regardless of their status or age are becoming victims of violent crimes”.

According to Baba-Ahmed, “Nigerians who will continue to be victims of violent crimes do not have the luxury of waiting” until 2027 for the situation to change.
