Olabisi Onabanjo University – OOU Admission List for 2023/2024

Olabisi Onabanjo University, OOU Admission List for the 2023/2024 academic session has been released. This Olabisi Onabanjo University admission list contains 1st batch and 2nd Batch admission lists of candidates offered provisional admission to study various courses offered by OOU.

According to information from the management board of the Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), Ago Iwoye, Ogun State, the tertiary institution has just announced the release of the school’s first batch and second batch admission list for the 2023/2024 academic session.

It is now important that all candidates who choose Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU) as their First Choice institution during JAMB Registration and participated in the OOU Post UTME screening exercise / or applied for the Direct Entry (D.E) can now check their OOU admission status online.

How to Check OOU Admission Status on JAMB Portal.

  • To check your OOU admission status, go to the JAMB portal at https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/.
  • Enter your username and password to access your JAMB profile.
  • Scroll down, then locate and click the Check Admission Status tab.
  • Select your Examination year and enter your registration number in the required column, or sometimes, the exam year and your JAMB reg. number will automatically be selected for you.
  • Lastly, click on the ‘Access my CAPS‘ button to access the JAMB CAPS for your OOU Admission status and other related services.

How to Check OOU Admission List.

It is crucial to note here that this OOU admission list contains the first-batch and 2nd batch names of admitted candidates who selected the institution as their first choice during their JAMB registration, and scored up to, or above the JAMB cut off marks, and OOU cut off marks for admission.

To check your OOU admission status, simply follow the guide below.

  • Go to portal.oouagoiwoye.edu.ng/admission/.
  • Enter your JAMB Registration Number and Password in the blank boxes provided.
    (If it’s your first time to log in, you are to use your SURNAME as password).
  • Then click the “Login” button to access your OOU admission status.

It is important that candidates whose names appear on this list, are to visit their JAMB profile and Accept or Reject the Admission offer on JAMB Caps within two weeks. Use this guide to Accept/Reject OOU admission offer on JAMB CAPS.

Candidates successfully admitted into Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU) first-degree programmes are advised to do the following listed below:

  • Login to your JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) and ACCEPT or REJECT the admission offer.
  • Print your JAMB admission letter after accepting the admission on JAMB Caps.
  • Print out your original JAMB result slip (this comes with your passport photography on it).
  • Candidates who were offered courses different from the ones they initially applied for, should endeavour to apply for a change of course on the JAMB Portal.

OOU Acceptance Fee Amount for 2023.

All candidates whose names appeared on the OOU admission list must pay the mandatory and refundable Acceptance fee of N60,000 (Sixty-thousand Naira only).

How to Pay the OOU Acceptance Fee Payment.

  • Login to the OOU Admission Portal, which is the same as the one you used in checking your admission status.
  • Scroll down to the bottom of your dashboard and click on the “Make Acceptance Fee payment”.
  • This will take you to the Remita page where you will be required to enter your debit card details.
  • The OOU Acceptance fee amount is sixty thousand Naira (N60,000). This amount will be deducted from your account as payment for the Acceptance fee.
  • Ensure you print out the acceptance fee receipt, which will show on your screen after your payment is successful. Or download it to your phone and go to a cyber cafe to print it out.
  • Make sure you hold on for the bursar’s signature to reflect on it before printing.
  • Print out a coloured version of the receipt and at least four photocopies.

Important Note on OOU Admission List 2023.

All Candidates who applied for admission into Olabisi Onabanjo University should please log in to the University Portal to check their admission status.

Successful Candidates are advised to adhere strictly to the information displayed on their dashboard and take further action immediately to secure the admission offered to them. Candidates offered Admission who do not comply with the Instructions on their Portals will be deemed as having forfeited the offer of admission by the OOU admission board.

In addition, the OOU admission board have sent messages to each Candidate being considered for Courses other than their Original (First) Choice of Courses when selected during their JAMB registration.

Candidates in this category are therefore advised to please check the University PORTAL and follow strictly, the instructions therein within forty- eight (48) Hours.
