Terrible: judicial workers to undertake the strike at national level on unpaid wages

As a biblical that says “for the abundant of the heart that the mouth speaks” the union of the judicial staff of Nigeria (Jusun) has no longer been able to digest the conditions of their members and has ordered its members in all federal courts and judicial institutions to withdraw their services starting from June 2, in protest for protest for unpaid protests and wage increases not subjected to wages.

Mustapha Laminu, Jusun’s national vice president for the North Central Zone, issued the directive in a declaration signed and released on Friday in Abuja. He explained that despite a recent one -month wage premium paid to other public employees, the judicial staff remains unpaid for five months.

“This action is to protest against the non -payment of five months of arrears of the wage premium, the non -implementation of the minimum salary of ₦ 70,000 national teams and the non -implementation of the increase in salary of 25/35 percent,” said Laminu.

He also complained that the union had repeatedly involved a management-prose with a 21-day ultimatum, therefore a seven-day notice has only postponed an industrial action following the intervention of the main judge of Nigeria.

“It is a pity that the judiciary, as a government arm, be punished while other government weapons have enjoyed since then,” added Laminu.

Assuming that the Ministry of Finance has issued funds to the general accounting for these arrears, he accused the general accounting of refusing to provide the money to the judiciary.

“We will continue this action until the government will not pay for this money,” he said. Laminu has also commissioned all the presidents of Jusun Chapter to enforce a rigorous compliance with the service sampling order.
