The troops thwarted Boko’s illicit attack on Borno

The Hadin Kai Operations forces on Saturday expelled a large -scale attack by a suspect in terrorist Boko Haram in Bitta, the Gwoza region in the state of Borno.

In an official post on Tuesday, the Nigerian army said the attack attempt, which occurred at 22:25 on Saturday was launched by a rebel that advanced from the Damboa axis.

Army troops added that the attackers briefly violated the outer defense perimeter but were quickly controlled after the fierce shooting standard with troops.

“Some terrorists were neutralized at the meeting, while the troops found AK-47 rifles and arms and other ammunition, added that no victims were recorded among the soldiers.

“In the follow -up assessment, the Acting General Officer Commanding (GOC), 7 divisions, on Sunday, July 27, led the senior military commander team to Bitta.

“GOC ordered direct reorganization and removing troops to strengthen the area and maintain high operational vigilance.

“The public security situation in Bitta and its environment remains calm, although it is unpredictable, while the morals and combat readiness of the troops remain high,” the post added.
