Wike speaks of “allocation of 2,082 hectares of earth” to his son, Joaquin

Lere Olayinka, Senior Special Assistant of the Minister of the Territory of the Federal capital (FCT) on public communications and new media, says that the minister has not assigned land to any of his children in the FCT.

Olayinka, in a declaration in Abuja on Thursday, described a publication that stated that the Minister of FCT, Nyesom Wike had assigned 2,082 hectares of land to one of his children in Maitama and Asakoro as “falsehood”.

The publication said that Joaquin Wike, the minister’s son, had received at least 2,000 hectares, or 40,000 plots, in Maitama, Asakoro, Guzape and other parts of Abuja.

Olayinka insisted on the fact that no one of the ground of land had been assigned to any of the children of Wike.

According to him, there is currently no place in Asakoro and Maitama that the minister can get an allocator of 2,082 hectares of land to anyone.

He asked the publisher of the relationship to provide evidence of any soil allocation with the name of one of the Wike children.

He said the accusation was simply a falsehood designed to defame and defame Minister FCT.

“Even if it is the right of the minister and members of his family, both immediate and extended to lands everywhere in Nigeria, including the FCT, provided that all the necessary conditions are satisfied, no land has been assigned to none of its children.

“In the publication, a right to employment (R-OF-O) issued to Joaq Farms and Summer Limited, for agricultural purposes were the only evidence used to justify the complaint.

“To avoid doubt, Joaq Farms and Summer Limited, a company recorded in Nigeria has obtained a land allocation in the Bwari area for agriculture.

“So what’s wrong with a farmer who strictly gets the allocation of the earth for agriculture?

“Therefore, the publication, claiming that Minister FCT has assigned 2,082 hectares of land to his son, is false and should be ignored,” said the spokesperson.
