2027: Borno South APC Stakeholders Unite and Raise ₦40 Million to Buy Forms for Senator Ndume – THISAGE

All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders from nine (9) local government areas of Borno South have unanimously supported Senator Mohammed Ali Ndume, collectively raising over ₦40 million to purchase his senatorial nomination and expression of interest forms ahead of the 2027 elections.

Led by the Hon. Adamu Yamta, a respected party veteran and critical stakeholder, the delegation on Sunday visited the Borno State APC Chairman, Hon. Bello Ayuba, at his residence in Maiduguri to formally inform him of their decision and present him with the desire to obtain the forms for the Senator.

Addressing the assembly, the Hon. Yamta commended Governor Babagana Umara Zulum for his selfless and people-oriented leadership and inclusive governance across the State.

In his response, the state party chairman, Hon. Bello Ayuba expressed deep admiration for the unity and caliber of the people who visited him in solidarity with Ndume.

“I thought this meeting was only for three to five people. I am really surprised by this massive turnout and even more impressed by the quality of stakeholders from all the local governments in Borno South. Even members of the state party executive are here. Indeed, Senator Ndume belongs to all of us.”

He also paid tribute to Governor Zulum, noting that the Governor’s leadership style enhances every segment of the State. He cited himself as an example, coming from a small local government but charged with leading the state party structure.

The Hon. also intervenes. Abdullahi Danjato and Hon. Musa Dogo stressed that the approval was unanimous, describing Senator Ndume as a parliamentarian who has proven his worth over time. They noted that the visit was aimed at obtaining the President’s blessing and formally notifying the party leadership of their collective decision.

Stakeholders present at the meeting include the Borno South APC zonal leader, the party’s Assistant State Secretary, all nine Borno South local government party chairmen, party executives, youth leaders and members of the business community.

The event clearly demonstrated an unusual level of unity, loyalty and strategic consensus within the All Progressives Congress of Borno South, sending a powerful and unmistakable signal as the 2027 election season approaches.

According to sources, Senator Ndume’s unanimous support reflects a coordinated grassroots decision and a shared determination among stakeholders to firmly support their legislator and the collective political direction of the area.
