Development: the Supreme Court declares the Wike ally as National Secretary of the PDP

The Supreme Court of Friday 21 March 2025 declared an ally of Nyesom Wike, Senator Samuel Anyanwu, as an authentic national secretary of the people’s Democratic Party (PDP).

The apical court canceled the ruling of the Enugu Court of Appeal, which had recognized Udey-Okoye on Sunday as the party secretary at Anyanwu’s expense.

In his decision, the Supreme Court agreed with the topic of Anyanwu according to which both the Court of Appeal and the Enugu court did not have the legal viri to listen to the case, since it concerned the internal affairs of the PDP.

The Conclave recalls that Anyanwu had left the position of the secretary of Narionional, Sans Drei Dreivigation, to contest the elections of the governor IMO.

He had returned to his position on the party after losing in the survey in Ghegber.

Since then his action had become a topic of litigation while some rooted forces challenged him, looking for the intervention of the court to invalidate his return to the position of national scribe.
