Flamingos World Cup Qualifiers: Akeem Busari confident Nigeria ready for Guinea clash

Nigeria Women’s Under-17 Team Head Coach, Nigeria Women’s National Under-17 Football Team, Akeem Busari, has expressed confidence in the team’s progress ahead of their FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup qualifiers against Guinea.

Speaking about the preparation for the crucial matches, Busari revealed that the team has shown strong signs of improvement during training.

“The team is constantly improving,” Busari said.

“The players are responding very well,” he said.

The coach also highlighted the healthy level of competition within the squad, insisting that places remain open for players who want to perform.

“Competition for positions is still very high,” he added.

Nigeria will face Guinea in the first leg on May 23 before the second leg at the Remo Stars Stadium on May 31.

“These are very important games,” Busari stressed.

The Flamencos continue to prepare with the ambition of making another appearance at the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.
