This is to inform all candidates who participated in the May/June 2024 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) of the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) that they can now check their results online.

Following the release of the 2024 WAEC May/June results statistics, the Head of the WAEC National Office has said candidates can check their results online on the board’s website with immediate effect. This page will discuss the procedures and how to check WAEC results online for 2024/2025

This is to inform all candidates who participated in the May/June 2024 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) of the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) that they can now check their results online.

The West African Examinations Council is the principal examination board in West Africa, established by law to determine the examinations required in the public interest in English-speaking West African countries, to conduct the examinations and to award certificates comparable to those of equivalent examination authorities internationally..

Candidates who sat for the 2024 West African Examinations Council (WAEC) WASSCE May/June examinations can now check their results.

You don’t need to buy a scratch card to check your result. The result checker PIN and serial number are contained on the back of the candidates’ CIVAMPENS card issued to all candidates by WAEC.

How to Check WAEC Test Result Online | www.waecdirect.org

To check your WAEC result online, follow the procedure below:

1. Access the official WAEC results checking portal at www.waecdirect.org
2. Enter your center number and seat number in the space provided. Your registration should look like this: 4310963***.
3. Select the year you took the exam, i.e. 2024.
4. Select your exam type, i.e. SCHOOL CANDIDATE RESULT.
5. Finally, enter your scratch card PIN and serial number in the required space and click Submit to view your result.

How to Check WAEC Results via SMS

You can also check your WAEC result via SMS:

1. Type an SMS in this format: WAEC*ExamNo*PIN*ExamYear
2. Send SMS to 32327 (for MTN, Airtel and Glo users).
3. Each SMS costs ₦30.
4. You will receive your result sent to your phone.
